r brother, wonderful co-worker, a good friend, a faithful servant of God - greatly cherished, sorely missed.
Enjoy His goodness in the presence of the Lord.
Loving and supportive father. I am so proud of you Dad. You had run the good race.
That hearty laughter of yours;
That infectious energy and passion;
That outstretched arms and bowed head in prayer;
That pat on the back you often gave;
Those trademark shoes of yours and jokes about the way they sounded;
That perfect timing of yours getting yourself warm water after the kettle chimes;
Those words of encouragement to a man in need-
All these fond and precious memories;
now to hold and keep;
till in Heaven shall we meet.
Thanks for everything.
Your deep passion to preach God’s Word and faithful effort to connect with church members with your warm smile and personal interaction will be a fond reminder that we are a family of God. Thank you for your warm encouragement to my family and me through the journey.
I enjoyed your preaching and the conversations on theology. Thank you for teaching us God's Word!
Thanks for your faithful service in sharing God’s word all these years. May God grant your family solace.
Pastor, Henry and I are indeed grateful to have you as our shepherd. You lead the example of what it means to live out the great commandment of loving God with all your heart, mind, soul, and loving your neighbours as yourself. I'm indebted to the incredible amount of grace, love, and outstanding friendship that your family and yourself have kindly shown me through all these years. Will be keeping Auntie Yvonne and Belicia in my prayers during this trying period.
Pastor, though the times we had together was short but the impression you left on me had kept me going on in faith to serve in cell group ministries. Thank you for the one and now only lunch we had together at Our Tampines Hub and the encouragement which you gave to me on that day. You have truly shown to me how a brother in Christ should be. Rest well in our LORD.
Grateful for your guidance in Changi Baptist Church. I know you have perfect peace now and you are at a better place.

Pastor Wing Yut, we have grown to love you and were looking forward to your leadership in TPBC. God sent you to us in His good and perfect time. You will be dearly and sadly missed.

I'll always remember you dearly as the pastor who never judges and welcomes me with your warm smiles since I became a Christian 20 years ago. You were generous with your encouragement & affirmations, which meant so much to me as a young Christian. You were one of the people I look forward to seeing whenever I came for church service! I'm blessed to have you as my youth pastor. Missing you dearly, but comforted you're now enjoying the full presence of our Lord Jesus. Looking forward to worshipping our Lord together with you!
8 months ago my wife and I stepped into TPBC, and we met at the newcomers table. Your warmth and jovial nature left an impression on me and my wife. Thanks for always trying to make sure that someone is following up on us, or that we are not left alone. Thanks for the messages and sermons that you have delivered. Thanks for the short walk during the family day, where we get to know more about each other. Thanks for the prayers and the visit when my wife was hospitalised. Thanks for all the good work that you have done for the church and for God. Juliana and Simon
Thanks for the many small conversations & encouragement u have given to me. Though sad n shocked, I know u are now with God. RIP😢
Your cheery laughter and the warmth in your smile, we will not forget You are a caring shepherd, and thank you for the bible verse you sent to encourage us. You inspired us with God's Word when you shared so passionately and with zeal. We are so blessed to have you as our pastor. You will be fondly remembered and You will be deeply missed by all of us
A gain in heaven, a loss on earth... missing you Bro.
I will always remember your humility and your passion as a fighter in faith and an overcomer to numerous life challenges.
Best Brother in law
you've touched my life!
wing yut, thanks for your concern, encouragement and friendship when i was at the lowest point of my life.
i'm forever grateful for your kind personal interest in me and in wanting to help. i reminiscent and missed our deep theological discussion in SBC.
i recall vividly how joyful, grateful and proud you and yvonne were with your daughter's academic achievement when you shared it with us.
wing yut, we thank god for you and we're proud of your life, friendship and ministry.
to god be the glory!
I have known Wing Yut for many years. The Lord first connected us when he was a lay leader of the youth ministry in People's Bible Church and I was worshipping there for about two years with my family. Later, when he went for training to prepare for full-time ministry at SBC, I had the joy of having him as a student in some of my classes. When he came to Evangel Baptist Church (EBC) as pastor, I became one of his "sheep". He was the pastor of EBC for 5 years and during this time, the Lord had used him to touch the lives of some people very dearly. Most of all, he will be fondly remembered by me and my wife as a dear friend and faithful co-worker in the Lord.
May the knowledge that he has indeed fought the good fight and run the good race bring much strength, peace, and comfort to all who know him, especially his beloved wife Yvonne and daughter.
So dear Bro Wing Yut, rest well in the Lord's loving presence till we meet again.
With hope and deepest condolences,
John & Iris Yuen
I will remember and be ever grateful for Pastor Choy as someone who loved and lay down his life for the Lord, his family and the church. His life was lived for them. Let us remember the family he leaves behind in prayer and render every support we can, and reflect deeply on his example.
