Dear Tok Ling and family
David is a dear friend, a good mentor and a servant leader. I am thankful I bumped into him in March 2020 and had a wefie taken. My heart is deeply saddened and my heart goes to all of you. I will miss this dear brother.
May the Lord continue to keep and strengthen all of you.
Dear Tok Ling and family
May the Lord be your Strength and Comfort at this time of your loss. Brethren of the NTICF share your loss. Absent from the body, present with the Lord is David's gain.
David is a cheerful, easy-going, caring, helpful and encouraging brother. We will all miss him.

David served God, the church and God’s people selflessly. He was always approachable, helpful and gave his best. He always had a smile and greeting for everyone. We have been blessed by him and will miss him. Praying that God will comfort Tok Ling and family - Peter and Cheryl Koy.
Dear Tok Ling and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during this difficult time. David bore a great testimony for the Lord and we were privileged and blessed to have been able to serve with him in various ministries. Take heart, for he has been promoted to his eternal rest. Though this will be a trying time, know that we will be united in Christ once more. Lovingly in Christ, jason foo & family
Dear Tok Ling and family,
My condolences goes out to you and your family. I am sure David is resting and celebrating the Lord's goodness even right now but we have to bear with his absence. I always remember him as jovial yet serious, candid and honest, firmly planted in the Lord Jesus Christ. May his and our Lord grant you comfort and rest even during this time of lost.
As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness;
I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. (Psalm 17:15)

Dear Tok Ling & Family,
David was a dear elder brother to me - from the time we were in the NTICF, all the way to the time when we were colleagues at Motorola. He was always the Big, Strong & Friendly one that people could talk to and he was always ready to help. He will be missed by many. May the Lord's ever-abiding peace and comfort be with you during this difficult time. May He be your Good Shepherd through this dark valley.
"My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever." (Psalm 73:26)

Dear Tok Ling,
David was constantly moving and serving the Lord.
Always caring - once during car park duties , he noticed a dent on my car . He bought paint and putty to my house to repair it .
My memories of him during our Israel trip was he was looking after both his wife and mum all the time
I will miss his smile, loud voice and jokes every Sunday .
May the Lord comfort you. Do take care of yourself 💕
Love , Hui Tin

My deepest condolences to members of the late David Tan The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord” Job 1:2 May our God of all comfort comforteth you all at this time of you bereavement. From Elder Joshua Lim
David left us too soon, too surprisingly, too suddenly, without a chance for one more fellowship together. He is what everyone says he was; jovial, kind, attentive, always helping or helpful, and much more - just like the senior deacon that he was. He has now returned in confidence to his reward from our just Master, "For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus." (1 Tim 3:13).
Dear Sister Tok Ling, Joash and Joel, may our God and the Father of our Lord Jesus comfort you and be your comfort in this time of your sorrows, as you look for that blessed hope of His glorious appearing, when He shall bring with Him His saints including brother David. Until then, David will surely be missed by all of us.
Sincerely,
Seng Hoo, Robin and Family

Dear sister Tok Ling, truly there are times when we don't understand why God allows certain things to happen in our lives. But we take comfort that God loves David very much and knows what He is doing for him. So in this time of sadness, I pray that God will comfort your heart with the assurance that we will surely meet David again in the near future. - Calvin Loh
