The MNC features six service halls with 18 cremators, three of which are operational, and an ash collection centre. Its design enhances operational efficiency with features like adjacent service and viewing halls, automated vehicles for coffin transport, and a self-help system.
Mandai North Sequence
A. Arrival & Unloading
1. family can witness the casket unloading from the hearse to the AGV
2. family will then proceed to sit inside the Service Hall
B. Entry to Service Hall
3. once everyone is ready and the centre aisle is clear, we invite all to rise
4. we will activate the AGV to bring the casket in
5. once the casket settles in the Service Hall, we will move the table holding the photo wreath to the centre
C. Service & Paying of Respects
6. Service begins, follow by paying of respects
7. Everyone returns to their seat and invited to rise
D. Transfer to Viewing Gallery
8. we activate the AGV to move to the holding area in front of the viewing gallery first (about 4-5 min)
9. attendees will take a seat until the AGV is in position
10. after which we lead everyone through the Service Hall exit to the Viewing Gallery
E. Viewing Gallery
11. at the Viewing Gallery we gather as usual
12. there is the option for the family to press the button to activate the AGV to proceed to the cremator holding area
13. we will not see the casket enter the cremator chamber anymore so no risk of seeing any any fire
F. After the Farewell
14. once the door closes we will proceed to B1 for a break before boarding the bus
